Small Home Retrofit: Garage into Cottage

Instead of housing 2-cars the garage is adapted as a primary dwelling for two people. It is nestled in the heart of a walkable downtown neighborhood. The homes south facing walls welcomes the sun filling its spaces with natural light and heat. It is both open and mysteries, with nesting nooks, multi-use spaces, and a simple timeless earthen feel.
